Empowering Neurodivergent and Autistic Lives - One Step at a Time.
Burgos Behavior helps parents of autistic and neurodivergent children work through daily challenges with practical strategies designed for real family life. We focus on what is happening now, create a clear plan, and help you feel confident using it at home and in the community.
Who We Are
Supporting Neurodivergent and Autistic Individuals
Burgos Behavior provides parent-led behavior support for families of autistic and neurodivergent children. Led by Chelsea Silveira Burgos, MEd, BCBA, and Certified Trauma Professional, our work is grounded in respectful, neurodivergent-affirming care and practical problem solving.
Families often come to us with one specific challenge that is making daily life feel overwhelming. Maybe mornings take too long and everyone ends up in tears. Maybe leaving the house feels impossible. Maybe your child is missing out on birthday parties, restaurants, errands, or other everyday experiences.
We help families identify what is actually happening, create a clear plan, and practice strategies that fit their home, child, and real routines.
Why Burgos Behavior?
At Burgos Behavior, we do not believe families should stay in services forever. Our goal is to get in, understand the problem, build a practical plan, and help you feel confident enough to move forward. We work closely with parents and caregivers because you are the one living the routine every day. Instead of taking over, we give you precise, practical strategies you can use at home and in the community.
Whether the challenge is getting out the door, managing errands, preparing for a birthday party, handling changes in routine, or helping school strategies work at home, we focus on what matters most to your family right now. When your family has the tools to handle what comes next, that is the goal. Progress should have a finish line..
Practical Support for Real Moments
We focus on the everyday situations families are actually dealing with: mornings, meals, transitions, outings, school routines, community events, and moments when things suddenly become overwhelming.
Parent-Led Strategies
We help parents understand what to do in the moment. You are not a passive part of the process. You are the most important partner in helping the plan work in real life..
Neurodivergent-Affirming Care
We do not work from the idea that your child needs to be fixed or made to fit a mold. We support your child’s needs while helping your family create more peace, predictability, and confidence.
Progress With a Finish Line
The goal is not to keep your family in services forever. The goal is to help you build tools that work, feel more confident using them, and graduate when you are ready.
